Heart Lung Machine / ECMO

Pictured is the Medtronic BioConsole with tubing and adapter ready for ECMO use.

Also shown is a Rotaflow with liquid filled pump-head + tubing for the initial testing.

Mini C-Arm

A successful calibration after beam, dose, focus and gain adjust on a Hologic Mini C-Arm.

Fluoroscopy compatible phantom was used to adjust and confirm image clarity.

DICOM service options were also upgraded (external monitor required for Operating System view).

Ventilator (HFOV)

Setting up of the 3100A neonatal High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilator.

Test-lung and 15Hz frequency used whilst ensuring piston remained central throughout.

IA Balloon Pump

A successful manual fill and safety-disk leak test pass on a Datascope Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump.

Trigger response confirmed with an action potential compatible ECG patient simulator.
